Betty J. Lawrence Haynes

Betty Jean Lawrence Haynes, 65, resident of Bloomington, IL, formerly of Charleston, died April 13, 2011 at the Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center at 3:50 p.m. She was born July 2, 1945 in Dorena, MO to the late James and Mary Lawrence.

She attended Lincoln High School in Charleston and became a LPN.

She was married to James Robert Haynes who preceded her in death. Her son, Lannie Johnson, and daughter, Letondria Johnson also preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Andrew and Gidget Johnson, Jon Haynes, and Shawn and Miquet Haynes all of Bloomington,
one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Corey Davis of Bloomington, a step-daughter, Norma Haynes of St. Louis, MO, 19 grandchildren, and a host of foster children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home in Bloomington from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington at 10:00am with Rev. Frank McSwain officiating.

Friends may call Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, MO from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery immediately following the graveside service.
