Kimberly Conner Hemphill

Kimberly Wynee Hemphill, 48, resident of Lilbourn died Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1963 in Hayti, Missouri the daughter of the late Waverly Conner and Ann Taylor Conner of Howardville.

She was a 1981 graduate of the New Madrid County Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was employed by Associate Electric in Marston and was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn where she was a member of the choir.

She was united in marriage of Sedrick Hemphill who survives.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jeutaun and Eddie Jones of St. Louis, two sons, Sedrick Hemphill, Jr. and Marcus Hemphill of Nashville, TN, two brothers, Darryl Conner of Columbia, MO and Steven Wheeler of Flint, MI, three sisters, Sonja Conner of Columbia, Gwen Thomas of Las Vegas, NV and Louise Pullen of Sikeston, three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the First Baptist Church located on the corner of 4th and Dawson in Lilbourn, MO with Rev. Earl Grissom officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron, MO.
