Danny Shyrone Jimerson

Mr. Danny Shyrone Jimerson, 56, resident of Sikeston, MO died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born December 3, 1954 in Sikeston to the late Mary Lou Price and David Stewart and was adopted by the late Louis Jimerson Jr.

He attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Ship.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Harris Jimerson of Sikeston, Missouri, three sons, Michael Sheron, Derrick Ellis, and Antoine Harris of Sikeston, two daughters Minister Karen Lomax of Oceanside, California and Danika Ellis of Sikeston, six stepsons, James Harris, Jeff (Debbie) Davis, Russell Davis, Dewayne (Sandra) Harris, Michael (Johnnie) Harris and Veril Wolfe of Sikeston and one stepdaughter, Sheila Harris of Sikeston, two brothers, Robert Jimerson of Douglas, Arizona, Johnny Jimerson of Seattle, Washington, four sisters, Shirley Barr of Peoria, Arizona, Dianna Alexander, Debra Jimerson and Patricia Jimerson of Surprise, Arizona, 11 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, June 24, 2011 from 1:00p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00p.m. at West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Pastor Chester Yarber officiating. Interment will follow in Sikeston Memorial Park in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
