Clayton Scott

Clayton Scott, 49, resident of Rockford, Illinois died suddenly Thursday, July 7, 2011 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born July 14, 1961 in Charleston the son of the late Luther Betts and Lillian Maxine Scott Horton.

He attended Charleston Public Schools and was previously employed by Mueller Farms.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Jackson of Paducah, KY, one son, Clayton Scott Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri two daughters, Betty Ann Bryant and Amanda Bryant of Charleston, two brothers, Ronnie Scott of Charleston and Dale Horton of Phoenix, Arizona, three sisters, Loretta Rodgers and Margaret Scott of Charleston, Missouri and Fredia Scott of Sikeston, Missouri, one grandchild, Zaniya Bryant of Charleston, a special friend, Demetria Isabella of Rockford, Il and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends called Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston at 1:00 P. M. with Pastor Floyd Wade officiating.
