Ezell Ferguson

Ezell Ferguson, 73, resident of Matthews, formerly of Cape Girardeau died, Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at Close to Home Nursing Center in Matthews. He was born January 25, 1938 in Cleveland, OH to the late Solomon and Arliler Yarber Ferguson and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by one son, Al Nickelson of Kansas City, MO, five brothers, John Robert Gater and B. B. Gater of Oxford, MS, Jerry Gater of Kansas City, MO, and Jethero and Moses Gater of Sikeston, four sisters, Mary Carothers of Stone Lake, IA, Martha Carothers of Water Valley, MS, Lottie Marie Baker of St. Louis, and Arliler Ruth Bates of Kansas City, MO, 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with the pastor, Rev. Chester Yarber officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston
