Gregory Bernard Tate

Gregory Bernard Tate, 42, resident of Fort Wayne, IN died November 11, 2011 at his home. He was born May 22, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois to Willie Wilson Jr. of New Orleans, LA and Shirley Coleman Tate of Sikeston .

He was a graduate of the Sikeston High School class of 1988 and was of the Methodist faith.

He was employed by Superior Essex in Fort Wayne.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, JeTyson Tate of Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, JeTyron of Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, and Nate Tate of Pittsburgh, PA, three daughters, Svannah Walker of Nashville, TN, JeNeesha Tate of Sikeston and Madeline Tate of Fort Wayne, four brothers, Virgil Tate and Armster Robinson, Jr. of Sikeston, Willie Wilson, III of Fort Wayne and Blake Wilson of New Orleans, six sisters, Sondra Luttrell and Leslie Ellis of Sikeston, Monica Thompson and Teresa Wilson of Burlington, Iowa, Angela Hunter Springfield, IL and Falisha Carter of Fort Myers, FL, maternal grandmother, Pearlie Mae White of Sikeston, Paternal grandparents, Willie and Armethia Wilson, Sr. of Franklinton, LA, a special friend, Kristy McDonald of Fort Wayne, three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Apostle Betty Ware officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
