Delois Montjoy Brooks, 56, resident of Sikeston, MO died November 23, 2011 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born March 15, 1955 in Dorena, MO to Louis Van Montjoy, Sr. of Sikeston and the late Katherine Dickson Montjoy.
She was a graduate of Sikeston High School and Lane College in Jackson, TN.
She was a Supervisor at Proctor and Gamble for 18 years and was of the Baptist faith.
She was married to Freddie Brooks of Jackson, TN.
In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by her son, Corey Brooks of Sikeston, three brothers, Marshall Montjoy and Kim Dickson Montjoy of Sikeston and Frankie Montjoy of Huntsville, TX, six sisters, Peggy Blissett of Sikeston, Shirley Ann Sanders and Karen Sue Montjoy of St. Louis, MO, Cathy Montjoy Holly of Seattle, WA, Francis Montjoy of Huntsville, TX and Monica Montjoy Jackson of Harvest, AL, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Her son, Jason Brooks, preceded her in death.
Friends may come Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. for a memorial service at the Williams Funeral Chapel, 304 Vine Street in Charleston, MO.
