Inez Tate Ellis

Inez Tate Ellis, 85, resident of Charleston, MO died peacefully at her home on December 9, 2011. She was born December 21, 1925 in Gurden, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Emma Roberts Tate and had lived in the state of Missouri since 1947.

She was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

She was married to Mr. Joseph Ellis Jr. on November 29, 1947, and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2001.

She is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert and Loubertha Hollomon of Charleston, Joseph and Winda Ellis III of Bellwood, IL and Franklin and Sylvia Ellis Sr. of Cape Girardeau, MO, two daughters, Lottie Mae Brown of Grand Rapids, MI and Narda Jo Ellis of Charleston and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Funeral mass will be at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Charleston at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 with Father Glenn Eftink officiating. Interment will follow in Calvery Cemetery in Charleston.
