Floyd Treadwell, 50, resident of Charleston died, Monday, December 12, 2011 at his home. He was born February 18, 1961 in rural Charleston to the late Henry and Louise Brown Treadwell.
He was a lifelong resident of Missouri and of the Baptist faith. He was formerly employed by Wal-Mart in Charleston.
He is survived by one son and one daughter-in-law, Floyd and Charika Frierson of Portsmouth,Virginia, one daughter, Susan Kent of Charleston, his step-mother, Cornelia Treadwell of Wyatt, four brothers, Deon Cooper of Toledo, OH, Kris Dunnigan and Kevin Tyrone Dunnigan of Wyatt and Raymond Dunnigan of Atlanta, five sisters, Debra Porter of St. Louis, Ruth Faye Johnson of Chicago, Kassie Sherrell of Charleston, Donice Booker of Hopkinsville, KY and Mildred Lane of Atlanta, five grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friend may call Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 1:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Elder Elvin Greer officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
