Ella Mae Turner, 78, resident of Sikeston died December 18, 2011 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born May 12, 1933
in Painton, Missouri to the late John Henry (Snap) and Elnater Luster Turner.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three sons, Corlin Turner Jr., and Derrick Turner of Sikeston and Deon Turner of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, seven daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley Turner, Bernice Williams, Betty Turner, Lisa and Vince Longstreet, Tammy Turner, Yulonda and Ron Mitchell all of Sikeston, and Regina Turner of Kansas City, Missouri, three brothers, John Henry Turner of Haywood City, Missouri, Don Turner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and David Turner of Sikeston, seven sisters, Gertrude Harrington, Geneva McClinton, Rose Peet, Mary Baker of Sikeston, Doris Turner of Haywood City, JoAnn Jackson of Chicago, Illinois, and Helen Tate of Harvey, Illinois, 35 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Reverend Alex Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
