Annise Louis Davis Sr

August 13, 1908 — February 9, 2012

Annise Louis Davis Sr., 103, affectionately known as “Buddy-Papa” resident of Sikeston, died February 9, 2012 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born August 13, 1908 in Lula, Mississippi the son of the late Benny and Rosie Davis and moved to Missouri in 1935.

He was employed at Malone and Hyde in Sikeston before retiring and was a member of Bread of Life Ministries in Parma, Missouri

He is survived by three sons, Andre “Amboo” Davis of Kansas City, MO, Robert Davis of Detroit, MI and Joe Davis of Mansfield, OH, eight daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty “Cookie” and Mac Jimmerson, Lucille Myers and Lisa and Frank Dye of Sikeston, Katie Mae Davis and Berla Davis of Mansfield, OH, Alberta “Susie” Myers of Cape Girardeau, Eula Mae Johnson of Markham, IL and Ebony Kitchen of Columbia, MO, one sister, Earlene Harris of Greensboro, NC, 122 grandchildren, 283 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, 10 great great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral of 1:00 P. M. at Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston with Pastor Carl Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in
