Linda Faye Wilson, 53, affectionately known as “Red”, resident of Lilbourn died on February 11, 2012 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 28, 1958 in Catron, MO to the late Pervis and Henrietta Lane Boyd and was a lifelong resident of Missouri.

She was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.

She was united in marriage to L. C. Wilson who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Nicole Wilson.

She is survived by one son, Timothy “Mont” Wilson of Lilbourn, four brothers, Pervis Boyd and Leonard Boyd of Portageville, Tyrone Boyd of Collinsville, IL and Ronnie Boyd of Kansas City, MO, three sisters, Tracy Boyd and Patricia Curry of Cape Girardeau and Bernice Garrison of Chicago, three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Lilbourn First Church of God with Rev. Earnest Willis pastor of Mt. Olive MB Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron, MO.
