Norma Jean Johnson

Norma Jean Johnson, 66, resident of Cairo died March 19, 2012 at her home. She was born April 30, 1945 in Portland, Oregon.

She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church at 2115 Washington Ave. in Cairo where she was a member of the choir and the Sister Sister Ministry.

She was united in marriage to Sidney Johnson who survives of the home.

In addition to her husband she is survived by five daughters and two sons-in-law, Rena Adams, Zena and Byron Madison and Nita and Victor Posey of Mounds, and Patricia Wilson and Toya Wilson of West Land, MI, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, March 23, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at First Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Park Cemetery in Hodges Park, IL with Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
