J’Vierre Lamont Durden, 2, resident of Essex died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Kansas City, MO. He was born June 11, 2009 in Hayti, MO the son of James and Diamond Wigfall Durden of Essex.
He attended Temple of God’s Glory in Portageville.
In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers, Desmond Tate of Nashville, TN, Cornelius Ellis of Sikeston, and James Reed Durden of Charleston, two sisters DeAvion Caldwell of Portageville and Imyja Neal of Birmingham, AL, Maternal grandparents, Roy and Annie Wigfall of Portageville, paternal grandparents, Della and James Oliver of Sikeston and Lavell Durden of Kansas City, KS, maternal great grandmother, Julia Wigfall of Portageville, his God Mother, Jan Saxton Holmes and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A. M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Portageville located at 608 Delisle Street with Pastor Richard Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in Portageville City Cemetery with Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements.
