Bernadian Rochelle Hollis, 48, resident of Cairo died May 12, 2012 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. She was born March 17, 1964 in Cairo, IL to the late Frank Hollis, Jr. and Mable Baldwin Hollis of Cairo.

She was a former clerk of the Alexander County Courthouse and was the owner of Ladies Five Catering in Cairo.

She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Cairo located at 727 37th Street formerly 12th Street, where she was chairman of the culinary committee and a member of the Trustee Board.

In addition to her mother she is survived by three daughters, Jalica Davis of St. Louis, MO and Kaneesha Mallory and Daphanie Hollis of Cairo, one brother, Frank (Toyva) Hollis of Atlanta, GA, one sister, Afreeka (Fred) Wilson of Upper Marlboro, MD, one grandson, Jahlil Hollis of Cairo and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 1:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at the Cairo High School with Pastor Donald Topp officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Villa Ridge, IL with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Missouri.
