Oscar L. Bean, affectionately known as “Lil Man” 42, resident of Sikeston died May 11, 2012 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born October 4, 1969 in St. Louis to Osbie Lee Johnson and Barbara Sue Bean Gully of St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee’, Tonya Miles of Sikeston, three sons, Kaleb Sterns of Cape Girardeau and Cameron Bean and Brandon Beans of Sikeston, three daughters, Kenya White of St. Louis, Dyshauna Sterns of Cape Girardeau and Breonna Miles of Sikeston, three brothers, Osbie Lee Johnson, Jr. of Manhattan, Kansas, Ronald Johnson of Sikeston, and Wardell Bean of St. Louis, ten sisters, Brenda Harrison of Junction City, KS, Sandra Vaughn, Angela Cole and Bridgette Applewhite of Sikeston, Laura Hawkins of Staunton, VA, Peangela Woods of Cordova, AL, Judy Kay Bean of Topeka, KS, and Sherry Monique Bean, Cherita Floyd and Erica Johnson of St. Louis, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A. M. at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with Pastor Floyd Wade of St. Matthews Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset of Memories in Sikeston.
