Margaret Ann Petty, 61, resident of Charleston died June 19, 2012 at her home. She was born January 24, 1951 in Henson, Missouri to the late J. D. and Veatrice Crider Wilson.

She was owner of Margaret Petty Day Care for over 20 years and a Foster Parent for the State of Missouri.

She was a member of New Beginnings Church where she was the church mother.

On March 23, 1980 she was united in marriage to Willie B. Petty who survives of the home.

One son, Willie Emanuel also precedes her in death.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law, Marcus Emanuel, Everick and Sandra Emanuel and Kevin Emanuel of Charleston and Brent Emanuel of St. Joseph, MO, two daughters and one son-in-law, Annetta Gibbs of Charleston and Nishelle and Hardy Crawford of Jefferson City, eight brothers, J. D. Wilson, James Wilson, Anthony Wilson, Lorenzo Wilson, Favis Wilson, Randy Jennings and Fred Jennings of Charleston and Charles Ray Jennings of Fulton, KY, and, two sisters, Carolyn Jennings Brown of Akron, OH and Lawanda Wilson of Charleston, 26 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon with Pastor Antonio Moton officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
