Louis Banks

Louis Banks, 85, resident of Wilson City, Missouri died July 7, 2012 at his home. He was born June 26, 1927 in Crittenden County, Arkansas to the late Will and Mary Moses Banks.

He was a butcher for Meat Packers and had a passion for cars. He was a member of Wounded Healers Word Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois under the leadership of Pastor Emanuel Thompson and Dr. Clarence R. Kelly, Pastor Emeritus.

In 1947, he married Zenora Moore in Marion, Arkansas who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six sons, Louis Banks, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Charles Edward Banks of Chicago, Illinois, Levi Watson and Milton Watson of Houston, Texas, Frank Banks of Kansas City, Missouri and Raymond Baker of Memphis, Tennessee, and six daughters and one son-in-law, Felecia Banks of Aurora, Illinois, Penelope (Penni) Watson and Patricia Watson of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Inice Banks of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Stephanie (Archie) Haynes-Banks of Wilson City, Missouri, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10:30 A. M. until the funeral hour of 11:30 A. M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
