Olga King, 88, resident of Caruthersville, Missouri died Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She was born September 14, 1923 in Point Pleasant, Missouri to the late George Herrington and Eva Hoard.

She was a member of Progressive Church of God in Christ where she was a Sunday School Superintendent and Sunshine Band Leader for many years.

She was united in marriage to R. T. King who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Addie Ruth (Norman) Herrington of Inkster, Michigan and Bobbie (Allen) Herrington of Detroit, Michigan, a great nephew, Kenneth (Carolyn) Tipler of Seattle, Washington, the Murphy Children whom she helped raise, a host of nephews, nieces, and the many children she taught over the years.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. at Progressive Church of God in Christ in Caruthersville, Missouri with Pastor Roosevelt Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery in Portageville, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements.
