Clyde Cleaves, 57, resident of Charleston died September 26, 2012 at the Charleston Manor. He was born April 12, 1955 in Diehlstadt, MO to the late Jessie and Callie Nicholson Cleaves and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by three sons, Mark Carter and Ananizer Carter of Chicago Heights, IL and Clyde Carter of Louisville, KY, one daughter and son-in-law, Kizzie and Jody Willis of Chicago Heights, nine brothers, Tommie Cleaves and Randy Cleaves of Cape Girardeau, James Cleaves of Charleston, Samuel Cleaves, Steve Cleaves, John Cleaves and Timothy Cleaves of Columbus, OH, Jessie Cleaves of Louisville and Phillip Cleaves of Queens, NY, three sisters, Delores Hall of Charleston, and Larcene Robinson and Diane Cleaves of Cape Girardeau, eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 1:00 P. M until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at the Grand Avenue Seven Day Adventist Church in Charleston with the pastor Corey Douglas officiating and Rev. Wiley Reed as the eulogist. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston
