Elizabeth Kimbrough, 105, resident of Charleston, formerly of Wyatt, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing. She was born August 12, 1907 in Indianola, MS to the late Brent and Ida Brown and had lived in Missouri since 1923.
She was the owner and operator of Foster’s Café in Wyatt, a foster parent of the State of Missouri for many years, a caregiver for the elderly and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Mound City, Illinois.
She was united in marriage to Matt Kimbrough who also precedes her in death. Three sons; Archie Carney, Donald Carney and Calvin Longmire also precedes her in death.
She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Pastor Darren Horrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove
