Loretta Steward, 70, resident of Sikeston, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born October 15, 1942 in Malden, Missouri to the late Everrie and Georgia Mae Steward.
She was a member of Greer’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston where she served on the Usher Board. She was employed at Tetra Pak Incorporated in Sikeston for 27 years until her retirement in 2004.
She is survived by one son, Irvin Steward of Woodbridge, Virginia, one daughter and son-in-law Sydney and Robert Jones of Sikeston, Missouri two grandchildren, Torya Steward and Chris Taylor of Sikeston, Missouri, two sisters, Minnie Moore and Essie B. Steward of Sikeston and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A. M. at Greer’s Chapel Missionary Baptist in Sikeston with Rev. Herman Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
