Hershel W Campbell

Hershel W. Campbell, 73, resident of Cape Girardeau, died October 27, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis. He was born September 1, 1939 in Meridian MS, to the late Sam and Georgia M. Murray Campbell
He was a former employee of the City of Cape Girardeau and was member of New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
He was united in marriage to Lena Brock in 1962. She preceded him in death on February 27, 2012.
He is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law, Gregory Campbell of Jackson, Kenneth and Teresa Campbell and William Jackson of Cape Girardeau and William Campbell of Madison, WS, eight daughters and one son-in-law, Delia and Steven Douthil, Carolin Campbell, Rose Mary Campbell, Rose Jackson and Sherry Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Debra Campbell and Linda Campbell of Madison and Peggy Thornton of Poplar Bluff, one brother, Melvin Campbell of Cape Girardeau, four sisters, Eva Hardin, Mable Willhite, Edna Summers and Girlie McCoy of Chicago and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Second Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau with Pastor Howard McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
