Johnnie B. Applewhite, 59, resident of Sikeston died December 30, 2012 at his home. He was born October 11, 1953 in Sikeston to the late Albert and Hazel McCauley Applewhite.
He was a 1971 graduate of Sikeston High School and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four brothers, Rev. Leon Applewhite of Chicago, Joseph (Erma) Applewhite, James (Mary) Applewhite and Ezell Applewhite of Sikeston; four sisters, Mary Henry, Ida Applewhite and Irene Applewhite of Sikeston and Willie Lee Stidman of Chicago and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Sikeston with Rev. Leon Applewhite officiating.
