Lettie Winston, 49, resident of Cape Girardeau died February 15, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born December 23, 1963 in Mississippi to the late Jennie and Clarence Winston.
She attended Scott County Central High School in rural Sikeston and attended New Bethel Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, David Winston.
She is survived by one son, Dameon Winston of Sikeston, one daughter and son-in-law, Alexie and Michael White of Sikeston, four brothers, Billy Winston of Indiana, Clarence Winston of Kansas City, MO. , James Winston of St. Louis and Will Winston of Poplar Bluff, seven sisters, Esther Winston, Florence Winston, Ethel Winston, Louise Winston and Lillie Winston of Sikeston, Jeannette Winston of Chicago, Fannie Winston of East St. Louis, one grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with the pastor Rev. Herman Gardner officiating.
