Robert Junior Moore

Robert J. Moore, affectionately known as Mr. Robert, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his home. He was born August 11, 1927 in Charleston to the late Edward and Flora B. Wilkins Moore.

He worked for Lankheit Farms for over 31 years.

On February 26, 1979 he was united in marriage to Tomazine Fisher who survives of the home.

He is also survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Warren and Geraldine Fisher and Harry Fisher of Charleston, Gregory and Ruby Moore of Fort Wayne, IN and Earl and Sequilla Fisher of San Antonio, TX, seven daughters and six sons-in-law, Martha and Richard Murray and Jarlene Cooper of Charleston, Earlene and Alphonso Thomas of Kew Gardens, NY, Hattie and Leon West of Sikeston, Paulette and Jeff Williams and Brenda and Thomas Wiley of Fort Wayne, and Barbara and George Evans of Florissant, MO, one brother, Thomas Moore of Charleston, one sister, Ella Mae Moore of Charleston, 28 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Rev. Darren Horrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
