Marvin Royce Walker

Marvin R. Walker, 57, resident of Charleston died April 8, 2013 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born February 15, 1956 to the late Mose and Alice Robinson Walker Sr.

He was a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church and attended Charleston Public Schools.

He is survived by five brothers and one sister-in-law, Gerald Walker, Ronnie and Ida Walker and Craig Walker of Charleston, Larry Walker of Tupelo, MS, and Mose Walker, Jr. of Peoria, IL, four sisters and one brother-in-law, Mona and Jerome Hamilton and Vienna Walker of Charleston, Erma Price of Unity, IL and Marie Robinson of Peoria and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Rev. Arthur Cassell officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
