Catherine Williams Jones

Catherine Williams Jones, affectionately known as “Gramps”, 92, resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri died May 25, 2013. She was born June 4, 1920 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Press Williams and Josephine Pepper.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Freddie Jones and Willie and Veronica Jones, three daughters, Ernestine Johnson, Mary Johnson and Jerildine Voss, one brother, Robert Williams, three sisters, Betty Lewis, Maxine McClendon, and Cherie Flutcher-Legard, 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston from 11:00AM until the interment hour at 3:00p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery.
