Richard Lee Howard

Richard Lee Howard, 76, resident of Sikeston formerly of Charleston died Monday, July 22, 2013 at his home. He was born October 5, 1936 in Wyatt to the late Thomas Lee and Sadie Lee Montgomery Howard.

He was united in marriage to Betsy A. Kohliem .

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Richard D. Howard of Calumet City, IL, Anthony Smith of Racine, WI, and Allen Smith of Chicago, three daughters, Antonette Howard of Sikeston, Lucinda Smith of Chicago and Dalisa Smith of Milwaukee and , two brothers, Floyd Howard of Chicago and Otha Lee Howard of Charleston, 35 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 2:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 3:00 P. M. at Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston with Pastors Tom and Lavern Godwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
