Annie Mae Jimerson

Annie Mae Jimerson, 70, resident of St. Louis, formerly of Sikeston, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Luke Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. She was born May 7, 1943 in New Madrid County, Missouri to the late John and Vastie Young Griffin and was of the Baptist faith.

She was formerly employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and later did private duty nursing.

She was united in marriage to Harry Linn Jimerson who preceded her in death. One son, Marcus Jimerson also precedes her in death.

She is survived by two sons, William Chandler, Jr. of St. Louis and John Chandler of Texas, one brother, Johnnie Griffin of Detroit, MI, three step sons, Herman Jimerson of St. Louis, Mack Jimerson of Sikeston and Gordon Jimerson of South Carolina, two step daughters, Linda Jimerson of St. Louis and Belinda Lane of Sikeston, four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 from10:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Rev. Franklin Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
