Brenda Kay Mcclinton

Brenda Kay McClinton, 56, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Friday, August 30, 2013 at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston. She was born May 8, 1957 in Sunflower, Mississippi to the late Jessie McClinton and Clara Nicholson McClinton of Haywood City, Missouri.

She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Gary Peet, Jr. of Sikeston, and three daughters and one son-in-law, Brenneka Peet, Lamekia and Mario Dye and Cynthia McClinton of Sikeston, three brothers, Virgil McClinton of Chicago, Illinois, James McClinton of Haywood City, and Donnie McClinton of Cape Girardeau, and seven sisters, Carol Donaldson of Burington, Iowa, Doris McCane of Keokuk, Iowa, Annie McClinton of Haywood City, Linda McClinton of Chicago, Debra Wheeler and Betty Turner of Sikeston, and Nancy McClinton of Cape Girardeau, eight grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Friends may call Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City with Pastor Alex Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Haywood City Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
