Henry Nevada Bonner

Henry Nevada Bonner, 58, resident of Sikeston died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau. He was born February 3, 1955 in Sikeston to the late Wilma J. and Lessie Buchanan Bonner, Sr.

He was a graduate of Sikeston High School class of 1977 and was employed with Triangle P. W. C. (Essex) Wire in Sikeston for many years.

He was a member of Powerhouse of God where he was a deacon.

He was united in marriage to Rev. Dorothy Williams Bonner over 27 years, who survives.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Tyrone and Dinita Bonner and David Williams of Arlington, TX; a girl whom he raised as his own, Amy Lynn Bonner of Tulsa, OK, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie (Odessa) Bonner, Sr. of East St. Louis, IL, Rev. Wilma (Ernestine) Bonner, Jr. and Rev. Hallie (Lucy) Bonner of Sikeston, one sister and brother-in-law, Apostle Betty ( James) Ware of Sikeston, ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Powerhouse of God Church in Sikeston with the pastor, Apostle Betty Ware officiating.

Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
