Wallace Watson, 91, resident of Sikeston died Tuesday, October 29, 2013
at his home. He was born September 11, 1922 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Walter and Ida Neal Watson.

He was a member of Bethel AME Church in Sikeston and a retired employee of Steward Steel in Sikeston and a retired barber.

He served in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.

He was united in marriage to Annie Laster who precedes him in death.

He is survived by one son, Thurman L. (Ethel) Watson of Cape Girardeau, two daughters, Catherine (Lewis) McClendon of Dallas, TX and Linda (Lincoln) Avery of Sikeston, 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Friends may call Monday, November 4, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Rev. Chester Yarber officiating. Interment will follow at Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

The Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
