Marion Jewel “Bullit” Baker, 62, resident of Sikeston died December 25, 2013 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born June 2, 1951 in Sikeston to Shirley McClellon of Sikeston and the late Wyatt Hardin.

He was a graduate of the Sikeston High School and served in the United States Air Force receiving an honorable discharge on July 25, 1975.

He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On October 3, 1980 he was united in marriage to Mary Turner Baker of Sikeston.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by five sons, Corey Turner, Mario Baker and Corey Turner, Jr. of Sikeston, Marvin Jerrold Baker of Alexandria, VA and Anthony Richard of Poplar Bluff, two daughters, Tambro Turner of Sikeston and Temisha Baker of Killeen, TX, seven brothers, Wyatt Hardin, Jr., Henry Morell Baker and Sherman Baker of Chicago, Michael Baker, Ivan Baker , Cortez Baker and Stafford McClellon of Sikeston, two sisters, Sherra Baker and Wanda Baker of Sikeston, 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Rev. Victor Williams officiating with full military honors.

Interment will be Monday, January 6, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO
