Robert Moore

Robert Moore, 73, resident of Wyatt died January 10, 2014 at his home. He was born November 23, 1940 in Charleston to the late Nathaniel Moore and Beatrice Lacy.

He was a former employee of the Levy District.

He was a member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Wyatt where he served on the Usher Board.

He was united in marriage to Dorothy Clark Moore who survives.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Zenifer Moore of Richmond, VA, Robert and Sharetha Moore, Jr. of Wilson City and Robert Mims of Springfield, IL, two daughters and one son-in-law, Monica and Kenneth Tarver of Milwaukee, WI and Alice Mims of Marion, IL, one brother, Gregory Moore of Chicago, three sisters, Beatrice Moore, Sheila Moore and Darlene Moore of Chicago, a host grandchildren and great grandchildren of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at House of Prayer World Outreach Center in Charleston with Pastor Darrin Horrell officiating.

The Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
