Clara Elsie Wilson

Clara E. Wilson, 91, resident of Bertrand, formerly of Gary, IN died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Bertrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 9, 1922 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to the late Mose and Rosie Hurns Fulton.

She was a longtime member of Williams Chapel Church of God in Christ in Gary, IN where she served on the Mothers Board.

She is preceded in death by her children, Roland Wilson, Frances Purnell, Ester Currie, Mose Wilson and Ester Lee Wilson have all preceded her in death.

She is survived by one sister, Alice (Gus) Barnes of Sikeston, two uncles, Nelson Hurns of St. Louis and Douglas Hurns of Florissant, Missouri, one brother-in-law, L. C. Cross of Michigan City, IN, 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Holy Trinity Church of Deliverance in Charleston with the pastor, Elder Jesse McNeil officiating.
