Opal Hayes

Opal Hayes, 96, resident of Charleston died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her home. She was born December 12, 1917 in Wolf Island, Missouri to the late Jody Hayes and Virginia Johnson Wright and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Ossie Stevenson of Charleston, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Friends may call Friday, March 28, 2014 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Elder Michael Wilderness officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
