Lena Carter, 102, resident of Wilson City died May 3, 2014 at the Charleston Manor in Charleston. She was born April 8, 1912 in Humboldt, TN to the late Jerry and Laura Logan Cooper, Sr.
She was a member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Foreman of Wilson City and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
