William Rudolph Jenkins

William Rudolph Jenkins, 82, affectionately known as "Rudolph" resident of Cape Girardeau died June 30, 2014 at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 28, 1932 in Cape Girardeau to the late Fred and Annie Runnels Jenkins.

He was a member of St. James AME Church in Cape and a veteran of the United States Army receiving a purple heart and two bronze medals.

He is survived by one brother, Samuel Frank Jenkins of Cape Girardeau, two sisters; Peggy and Mike Primm and Charlotte and Terry Wade of Cape Girardeau and a host of nieces, nephews and Cousins.

Friends may call Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at St. James AME Church in Cape Girardeau with the pastor, Rev. Rodney Moody officiating.

Interment will be Monday, July 7, 2017 at 1:00 P. M. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military rites. Final arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Home of Charleston.
