Cornelious Robert Sides

Cornelious Robert Sides, 67, resident of Cape Girardeau died October 5, 2014 at his home. He was born October 30, 1946 in Cape Girardeau to the late Wilson Prince and Margie Sides.

He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he received an honorable discharge.

He was employed by U S Steel Company in Chicago for over 20 years before relocating back to Cape Girardeau. He then found employment with St. Mary Cathedral School in Cape Girardeau for a number of years.

He is survived by one son, Cornelious Sides, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, one daughter, Symone Sides of Cape Girardeau, one brother, Gene Prince of Cape Girardeau, four sisters, Cora Sides and Melissa Prince of Cape Girardeau, Beverly Prince of St. Louis and Victoria Whitehead of Joliet, IL, and a number of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, October 10, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p. m. at Greater Dimensions Church in Cape Girardeau with the Pastor, Apostle William Bird officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
