Nellie Mae Carlock, 86, resident of Sikeston died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born January 21, 1928 in Senatobia, MS to the late Ernest and Donnie Mae Davis Carter.
She was a member of Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston where she served as President of the Mother’s Board.
She was united in marriage to Milton Carlock who preceded her in death in 1996.
She is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Raymond (Mildred) Carlock of Selma, TN, Johnny Carlock of Sikeston, Lavern (Maxine) Carlock of Austin, TX, Joe (Linda) Carlock and Maurice Carlock of Memphis, three daughters and one son-in-law, Margaret (Victor) Williams, Dorothy Carlock and Alice Pope of Sikeston, three brothers, Robert Carter and Freddie Carter of St. Louis and James Carter of Virginia Beach, VA, three sisters, Earnestine Hamilton of Sikeston and Willie Mae Weaver and Bessie Jordan of St. Louis, 22 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with the pastor, Rev. Victor Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery with the Williams
