Martwan Davonta Hill, 18, affectionately known as ‘Bay Bay’, resident of Sikeston died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born January 21, 1996 in Cape Girardeau to Percy Baker and Vanda Dixon of Sikeston.
He was a graduate of Sikeston High School class of 2014 and was currently enrolled in Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff where he was majoring in Music. He was a member of the Three Rivers Community College Gospel Choir.
He was also a member of Powerhouse of God Church in Sikeston where was the drummer and was active in the choir, praise team and step team.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Rosie M. Baker of Sikeston, three brothers. LeChristopher Baker, Percy Baker and Dustin Ransom of Sikeston, three sisters, Jameshia Bonner and Simone Bonner of South Carolina and Taquala Wiley of Charleston, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Musical will be held in his honor on Friday, November 21, 2014 at First Christian Church in Sikeston at 6:00 P. M.
Friends may call Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at the Sikeston Public Schools Fieldhouse with Minister Chris Green, Jr. will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
