Yvonne Clark

Yvonne Clark, 63, resident of Jackson died December 10, 2014 at her home. She was born August 7, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to the late Will and Orpah Ferrell Dowdy.

She was employed by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, (NIMA)with the United States Government where she retired after 34 years of service and was a member of the United States Army Reserves.

On March 14, 1981 she was united in marriage to Elder Henry L. Clark in Atlanta, who survives of Jackson

She was the First Lady at Joyful Praise Ministries in Cape where her husband is the pastor. She also served as Assistant District Missionary and State Sunday School Field Representative.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Rodney (Tomekia) Echols of Macon, GA, six grandchildren and a great grandson.

One son, Steven Dowdy precedes her in death.

Friends may call Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6:00 P. M. –8:00 P. M. at Greater Dimensions Church in Cape Girardeau where the funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 12:00 P. M.

Interment will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Monte Vista Biblical Gardens in Atlanta. Local arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Home of Charleston.
