James Thomas Hart

James Thomas Hart, 65, affectionately known as “Sonny Boy” resident of Charleston died Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home. He was born March 17, 1949 in Charleston to the late John Ralph and Bessie Davy Hart.

He was a member of St. Matthews Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston.

He is survived by three brothers, John Edward (Ruth) Hart of Charleston, John Ralph (Lena) Hart of Saginaw, MI and Robert Dean of Chicago, two sisters, Ruby (Wesley) Townsend with whom he lived of Charleston and Floria Hasslett of Chicago Heights, IL and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, February 6, 2015 from 1:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at St. Matthews Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Floyd Wade officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
