Olestine Howard, 77, resident of Charleston died February 2, 2015 in Charleston at the home of her sister. She was born October 6, 1937 in Tunica, MS to the late Will and Amanda Moore Curtis and was of the Methodist faith.
She was an in home health care provider and was employed by SADI until her health began to fail.
She is survived by eight brothers, Willie Curtis of Bowie, MD, Ray Rodgers of Rock Island, IL, Fred Rodgers of Charleston, Bobby Moore of Sikeston, Lenzey Rodgers of Fort Mitchell, AL, Michael Rodgers of Ypsilanti, MI, and Sherdell Briggs and Tommy Briggs of Davenport, IA , six sister, Dianna Gorden of Florissant, MO, Cindy Rodgers, Amanda Williams, Rose Graham and Shirley Moore of Charleston, Delmarie Moore of Longdale, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 1:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Pastor Floyd Wade officiating.
