Ruth Ann Wilson, 61, resident of Forney, Texas formerly of rural Oran died Thursday, March 26, 2014 at her home. She was born August 12, 1953 in Advance, Missouri to the late Mary “Hat” Jones Stevens and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a graduate of Scott County Central High School class of 1971 and relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 1974 where she was employed by the Veterans’ Administration as a Supervisor of Mental Health. In 1980 she was united in marriage to Willie Wilson who also precedes her in death. She recently relocated to Texas.
She is survived by two sons, Michael(Felicia) Stevens of Forney, TX and Fred (Tina) Wilson of Los Angeles and one daughter, NyTasha Wilson of Los Angeles, three brothers, Earl (Edna) Stevens and Mack Stevens of Haywood City and Lee (Mary Ellen) Stevens of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Evelyn (James)Harris of Miner, four grandchildren,Brittany Stevens, Michael Stevens JR, Makayla Stevens and Cheyenne Wilson one great grandchild, Brittan Williams and host of nieces, nephews, uncles, one aunt, cousins and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P. M. at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City with the pastor, Rev. Alex Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Haywood City Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
