Riley Bernard Davis Sr.

Riley Bernard Davis Sr., 48 resident of Paragould, AR, formerly of Sikeston died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at University of Arkansas Medicine Sciences Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born June 4, 1966 in Sikeston to Monroe Davis of Sikeston and the late Ora Moore Davis and was of the Pentecostal belief.

He was a veteran of the Unites States Army where he received an honorable discharge and was self-employed as a concrete finisher until his health failed.

In addition to his father he survived by his wife, Sharon Higgins Davis of Paragould, one son, Riley Davis, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, two brothers, Tony Davis of Hannibal, MO and Tephone Tyrone (Doris) Davis of Milwaukee, two sisters, Pearl Renee (Cheizaule)Fields of Milwaukee and Tawanda (Andrew) Bell of Cape Girardeau, his step mother, Barbara Davis of Sikeston, two step sons, Robert Atkinson and Joey Atkinson of East Prairie, one step daughter, Leslie Atkinson of East Prairie and one step granddaughter, Jazmine Atkinson of East Prairie, two sisters-in-law, Raeco Davis and Betty Davis Pickett of Jonesboro, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Evans Davis in July 2010, three brothers, Monroe Davis, Jr., Kenneth Davis, Sr. and Ivory Davis, Sr., and one sister, Ora Mae Davis Washington.

Friends may call Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 11:00 a. m. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at House of Refuge Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with the pastor, Elder Monroe Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.

Interment will be Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
