Ethel Deloris Sloan, 59, affectionately called “Dee” died Monday, May 18, 2015 at her home in Wilson City. She was born July 2, 1955 in Charleston, MO to the late Leo and Essie Mae Johnson Welch and was of the Baptist faith.

On June 20, 1970 she was united in marriage to Lindsey Sloan who survives.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Glen D. Welch of Wilson City and Olie Welch and Harry Sloan of Sikeston, four step daughters, Elaine Williams of Sikeston, Patricia Haynes of Atlanta, GA, and April Pearson and Crystal Pearson of Chicago, four brothers, Leother Branch of Detroit, Ronnie Welch of Cairo, IL, Leo Welch, Jr. of Menard, IL and Glen L. Welch of Charleston, three sisters, Mary Davis of Cairo, Elsie Welch of Cape Girardeau and Carolyn Welch of Charleston, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Repast will held on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 3:00 P. M at the Helen Currin Building in Charleston.
