Doris Luvenia Burnett

Doris Luvenia Burnett, 66, resident of Wyatt died May 25, 2015 at her home. She was born January 19, 1949 in Wyatt to Johnnie Mae Davis of Wyatt and the late Leonard Burnett, Jr.
She was a former teacher and Coordinator for Head Start where she worked of 35 years and was a lifelong member of Ollie Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson City where she was the Financial Secretary and a Sunday School Teacher.

In addition to her mother she is survived by one brother, Bernard Davis of Wyatt, three sisters, Yvonne (Lonnie) Henderson of Cairo, IL, Catherine Kent of Alexandria, VA and Mary (Jerry) Dickens of Fredericksburg, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6-7 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1:00 P. M. at Ollie Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Wilson City with Pastor Melvin Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
