Delmarie Moore, 55, resident of Lonedell, formerly of Charleston died Monday, June 15, 2015 at her home. She was born May 30, 1960 in Charleston to the late Bryant Rogers and Hattie Spillers Moore and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a graduate of Charleston Public Schools and was a factory worker until she retired.
She is survived by one son, Demitirous Moore of Charleston, two daughters and one son-in-law, Danielle and Justin Brown, Sr. of Sikeston and Djenaba Moore of Charleston, eight brothers, Bobby Moore of Sikeston, Fred Rodgers of Charleston, Ray Rodgers and Wiley Reed of Cape Girardeau, Lindsey Rodgers of Mounds, IL, Michael Rodgers of Michigan, Sherdell Briggs of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tommy Briggs of Los Angeles, CA, eight sisters, Almeta Pearson and Ruth Harrington of Davenport, IA, Dorothy Bankhead, Shirley Murray, Rose Graham, Cindy Rodgers and Amanda Williams of Charleston and Dianna Gordon of St. Louis, a close friend, Cecil Smith of Lonedell, three grand-children, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston with Rev. Darren Horrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
